Macha's race is a 1,000km pilgrimage from Rathlin to Uisneach over two months, raising funds for wildlife in Ulster.

This page looks at ways to support the walker and ways to be involved wherever you are.

Financial - to support with supples (food, gas) and occasional places to stay to do laundry, dry off or have a warm shower. Please send via PayPal to katchoneill@icloud.com

Non-financial - if you are located near the Ulster Way (Ballycastle to Blacklion going clockwise) or Bearna Briefne Way (Blacklion to Ballygar) and could provide water, warm food, a warm shower or a field to camp in please get in touch at katchoneill@icloud.com

Financial - you can donate to support wildlife in ulster here. - ALL of these funds will be given to a wildlife group in Ulster, or split between several projects.

Non-financial - during the time of the walk, sustainably forage seeds and either replant them or keep for next year. you could also use a native wildflower mix. many wild flowers need sown in the autumn before the frosts - look online to find out what your seeds need!
